Each promotional video for Garden Design magazine brings the stories to life and gives a behind-the-scene look at what’s featured. I set up the video shooting, organized locations, wrote scripts where needed, and worked with the editing team to do a final cut of each video.
The videos I produced and directed for Landscaping Network were shot on-location at 15 different gardens. This is a sample of the more than 50 short videos that were made—each with a landscape design lesson homeowners can use to improve their garden.
Production work included setting up the locations, making sure the gardens were prepared for shooting, writing the scripts and content with each designer, and directed the filming and editing. I also ran the second camera for the shoot.
I produced and directed over 100 short videos (2-6 minutes each) for Concrete Network. Each video was designed to provide viewers with a quick lesson that would help them make a design decision, learn to use a tool, or learn a new application technique for home improvement.
I worked on scheduling the shoot, managing on-screen talent, and budgets. I was responsible for all production, directing, and the final cut of all videos. While on location I ran the second camera that captures b-roll and detailed shots.
